MAYORESS ENTERTAINS
Ma yoresses of Auckland suburhs and the wives of chairmen of local bodies and town boards were entertained by tbe Mayoress of Auckland, Mrs. J. A. C. Allura, at afternoon tea in her room at the Town Hall yesterday. The Mayoress of Newmarket, Mrs. S. Donaldson, thanked Mrs. Allum for giving those present the opportunity of meeting together. Tn reply. Mrs. Allum said she thought they would all work better together if they knew one another, and she had given the party with that object
