CHOLERA DEATH ROLL
CRETE ALMOST EVACUATED SCOURGE ALSO IN GREECE LONDON, July 3 The cholera epidemic has obliged the Germans to almost entirely evacuate Crete and parts of Greece, says the Daily Telegraph's Cairo correspondent. The death roll is growing. German hygiene experts are unable to combat the disease, which has developed from polluted wells and corpse-covered hills. Doctors are busily inoculating German and Italian soldieri.
