Clean Inside As Well as Out
When a coffee pot is not in use the lid should not be left on it or it will become musty at once. And while we are on the subject remember that metal coSee pots, unless they are aluminium, should always he kept bright inside. If discoloration has already occurred, try boiling the pot with a little washing soda dissolved in some soapy water. But do not rinse thoroughly afterwards.
No teapot should be allowed to get encrusted with tannin as it spoils the tla~«nr of tea. and the teapot should bf wfdl aired before it is put away. If the teapot has become coated with tannin, put in a lump of soda. £0 to the brim with boiling water, and put on the lid. Let this stand overnight, then wash the teapot well and rinse thoroughly.
