HE FOUND A CROCK OF GOLD

A s a reward for the crock of gold which he dug up in his front garden just over a year ago, Mr. Harry Alfred Baker, of Chantry Cottages, Bredgar, Kent, has received from the authorities a cheque for £65. Mr. Baker is a tractor driver employed by the Kent Harm Institute at Grove End Farm, Tunstall. When he dug up the earthen wane crock a shower of gold coins fell at his feet.
