GIRL ASSAULTED
"He is one of the hnodlarris who han_around that district and has been m trouble before." said Senior-Sergeant Joyce when TEso Phillip Paulson,. labourer, aged 21, wm charged before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday, with assaulting a .girl in Rutland Street. Accused admitted the ■ offence- hut denied assaulting another person. Evidence was given that accused slapped the girl on the face. A fine of £'•>. in default 10 days' imprisonment, was imposed.
