BREAD FOR HOSPITAL

MORE TENDERS RECEIVED Following: the rejection by the Auckland Hospital Board earlier this month of tenders for the supply of bread for the hospital, and a decision to readvertise, the chairman, Mr. Allan J. Moody, announced at a meeting of the hoard last night that the same three firms whose tenders had been rejected had again submitted prices, and there was one other offer. Mr. Moody said the three firms ay ho had previously tendered on the same form, stipulating the same conditions and terms, had nowoffered the same prices. A fourth firm offered a supply at slightly higher prices.

The tenders were referred to tin Finance Commit tee.
