EGYPTIAN BASE BUILDING

Built by the Church Army in conjunction with the National Patriotic Fund Board, a new recreational hut was opened on Saturday in the New Zealand base camp In the absence of the Prime .Minister, the lU. Hon. P. Eraser, the but was opened by Lieu-tenant-Colonel F Waite, overseas commissioner for the board. Visitors were welcomed by Bishop G. V. Gerard, senior Church of England chaplain with the Expeditionary Force, and the chapel was dedicated by Bishop A. M. Gebthorpe.
