WOMENFOLK OF FORCES
BRANCH AT DARGAVILLE A branch of the League of Womenfolk of the Overseas Forces has been formed at Dargaville. It was suggested that meetings for the district should bo held the same day as Women's Division or Women's Institute gatherings as this would prove helpful on account of |>etrol restrictions. Officers were elected and a committee chosen so that one officer from each district could keep in touch with members and re port when help was necessary and visitwhen the casualty lists are issued.
Tin* following wore elected to the committee:—President. Mrs. F. Wordsworth; vice-president, Mrs. 11. K. Wilkinson; secrotarv. Mrs. T. 11. Aiken; committee, Mrs. If. Gibson, Mrs. A. K. Harding, Mrs. F. Parr, Mrs. W. Faithful (Dargaville), Mrs. I'.. Clarke (Te Kopnrn), Mrs. ('. Lamhie (Arapohne), Mrs. Constable (Tatarariki), Mrs. I'. Hill (lloanga), Mrs. F. Player (Waihue), Mrs. J. Biddies (Mangarala), and Mrs. A. W. Wood ley (Maori Hare).
