TWO YEARS' PROBATION

After being remanded in custody for a week, Allan Howard York, motor driver, aged 32 (Mr. Ackins), who was charged with stealing £l2 2s 7d, tho property of Henry's Dyers and Dry Cleaners. Limited, appeared before Mr. K. K. Hunt. S.M.. for sentence in the Police Court yesterday. Counsel said accused had repaid £3O before he was arrested. Accused was admitted to probation for two years, and ordered to make restitution of £l2 2s 7d.
