Glasse, chief engineer of the Auckland Electric-Power Board, re. turned from Wellington yesterday. The Hon. P. K. Paikea, representative of the Maori race on the Executive Council, left for Wellington Inst night, Mr. S. G. Holland. Leader of the Opposition, will be in Hamilton on .June 24. He will also visit the Raglan torateMr. R. Cotterall and Mr. H. T. King Auckland members of the New Zealand Pharmacy Board, left Inst night to attend a meeting of the board in Wellington. Mr. J. H. M. Muir, who was recently appointed house manager of the Auckland Infirmary, has taken up his duties. Mr. Muir was formerly acting-relieving officer of the Auckland Hospital Board, a position to which Mr. K. Knowles has been appointed.
