| FORMAL. TRANSFER MADE Notification of its readiness formally to transfer the Logan Campbell Endowment Fund to Massey Agricultural College was given to the Auckland University College Council by the properties committee at a meeting yesterday. Massey College will be advised to this effect. The fund was created under the will of Sir John Logan Campbell to found a chair of agriculture at Auckland University College. When the amount became available in 1924 the value of the fund was about £20,000. A bequest for a similar purpose was made to Victoria University College at about the same time, and the respective councils agreed to devote their funds to Massey College when that institution was offiiciallv constituted in 1926. Empowering j legislation was passed, but the managei ment of the Logan Campbell endowment has remained with Auckland University College since that time
