FARMERS' WIVES ON TOUR

PARTY FROM THE NORTH About 40 farmers' wives, members of the Whangarei branch of the Women's Division of the Fanners Union, arrived at Auckland yesterday and will leave by express this morning for Rotorua in the course of a short holiday tour of the thermal regions. The trip has been organised by -Mrs. H. Horribin, of Tikipunga, Whangarei, with the co-operation of :Mr. K. Wallace, ot the Railway Department. After their arrival in Rotorua the party will bo entertained at a, M.ioii concert to-night, while to-morrow they will go to the Chateau Tongariro, callnt Wairakei 011 the way. The Waitomo Caves will be visited on Thursday, and the trip will conclude at the week-end.
