AIR FORCE WEDDING
KIPPENBERGER—BAYNTON BRIDE IN PALE PINK LACE The wedding took place at Pitt. Street Methodist Church last evening of Miss Bonna Bavnton, younger daughter of Mrs. 1?. L. Bavnton, of Kaikohe, and Pilot-Officer E. T. Kippenberger, Royal New Zealand Air Force, second son of Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Kippenberger, of Gisborne. The bridegroom is an instructor at Wigram. The Rev. B. M. Chrvstall officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr. W. McPherson, wore a frock of pastel pink Chantilly lace. The long-sleeved bodice had a heart-shaped neckline and the bouffant i skirt was fashioned to form a train. ; Over this fell, from a tulle coronet I outlined with pearls, a long pink tulle 1 veil. The bride carried a bouquet ol pink tiger lilies. In attendance were the bride's sister. Mrs. \V. McPherson, as matron oi honour, Miss M. McKinlav as bridesmaid and Colleen McPherson as flower girl. They were dressed alike in frocks of dusky rose crepe with yokes of I beige lace. Their haloes were of beige ! lace and they carried bouquets of pink i carnations and sweet peas, ihe bride- ! groom was attended by Mr. E. Dowd- . ing as best man and Mr. S. Dawson ! as groomsman. A reception was held at the FarI mers' Trading Company reception hall, : where Mrs. Baynton received her guests wearing a black sheer frock l with black and white spotted sleeves ' and a black hat. She carried a bouquet of pink primroses. Mrs. T. Vaughan tWhangarei), sister, of the bridegroom, assisted Mrs. Bavnton.
