THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE GOOD TURNOVER MAINTAINED Buyers again operated actively on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Limits were fairly rigid, hut steady to firm values were maintained over a wide range of investments. Supplies continue to hp better, classes of stock which have been unavailable for a long period coming on to the market, but in spite of this sellers were outnumbered in several sections. Among the falls was a loss of 9d in Dominion Breweries, which weakened as a result or the reduced dividend. Oil shares wore again active, and considerable) business was done in Marthas and Waihi Investments at sharply improved rates.

Cabbage, cauliflower and lettuce plants bring 12s Gd a thousand in bundles of 25, and the first of th 6 season's onion plants are quoted at 6s a thousand in bundles Of 100.
