Everist, Wilfred Thomas (Pilot-Officer), U.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations— Mr. W. M. Everist, Christchnrch (father). Shannon, Flic Young (Wing-Commander). R.A.F.. previously reported dangerously ill, now removed to seriously ill list — Mr. Flic Shannon. Wellington (father). Chisholm. Robert Slnnley (Pilot-Orfieer). K.A.F.. reported missing on air operations—Mr. C. S. Chisholm, Wellington (father). DEATH IN ACTION KING'S COLLEGE OLD BOY An old boy of King's College, Corporal Thomas Gale Clarke, has been killed in action, according to advice received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Clarke, of 1-19 Great South Road, Green Lane. He was their only son.

Corporal Clarke, who was 24, was a pupil at Southwell, Hamilton, before going to King's where he played lor the first XV. and lirst XL. On leaving school, he was emploved by the Auckland Gas Company, Limited." He was a nephew of Mr. W. St. J. Clarke, of Auckland, formerly secretary-treasurer of the Auckland Transport Board. GOLFEE AND YACHTSMAN SERGEANT G. J. D. MFLLSOP Sergeant Geoffrey James David Mollsop, who is reported killed in action, was aged 25. Born in Ohakune, he was educated at the New Lynn School and the Mount Albert Grammar School. When war broke out and he joined the armv he had a number of subjects lor his B.Com. at Auckland University College. He was a member ot the Hemuera Golf Club, in which he took a keen interest, and was also a member of the Royal Akarana Yacht Club. I'or a number'of seasons he raced his own vacht. the Mispah. His mother is Mrs. F. Mellsop, of 8 Kelvin Road, Reniuera.
