SHIPPING DELAYS
ROUGH SEAS AT GREYMOUTH (0.C.) GREYMOUTH, Sunday .Hough seas on the Greymouth l»ar following recent stormy conditions on tlio West Coast have interfered with shipping movements. The Karu, with timber for Wellington, and the Holmlea, with coal for Tarakoho, have been awaiting favourable opportunities for departure. The Karepo and Titoki are in the roadstead waiting to berth to load coal for Wellington and Dargavilli? respectively. Two other vessels in port,-the Hokitika with coal for Wellington, and the Alexander with timber for Waikato Heads, have just, completed loading and are waiting to sail. So far rain has fallen on 10 of the 1.5 days of this month, the total to date being 7.3-lin.
