DEBUTANTES' BALL

The sum of £122 was raised at a ball liold in the- Himtly Town Hall recently by the Huntly Social Purposes Fund committee to provide social and recreational facilities for men undergoing training in the Hopu Hopu camp. Music was rendered by the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band. A feature of the evening was the presentation of 25 debutantes to the Hon. W. Lee Martin, M P., by the Mayor, Mr. G. Smith.
