PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that owing to delay in procuring materials and equipment necessary for the extension and reinforcement of the Board's reticulation system, and lor its proper and efficient maintenance, some measure uf restriction on the use of electrical appliances may become necessary from time to time. This applies particularly to certain sections of the Board's system where growth of loading has reached the maximum capacity of the mains, plant and equipmVnt. Until this position can be rectified, consumers are advised that the addition of heavv consuming appliances, whether domestic or otherwise, may jeopardise the efficiency and continuity of the existing supply in" these areas. Before connecting such additional appliances, therefore, application should IN ALL CASES be made to the Board, when advice will be given concerning the supply in question. , In cases where a new supply is required, intending consumers, electrical contractors, builders, dealers and all interested parties are warned that unless application is first made to the Board for permission to install, no guarantee can be given that such additional supply will be made available.
