AMERICANS IN DOMINION CASES FOR EXEMPTION [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION'] . WELLINGTON, Monday. The American Consulate General in Wellington has been informed bv the Minister of Justice, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, that his department will consider exemption from the Aliens Emergency Regulations, 1940. of nationals of the United Spates residentin New Zealand and that applications for exemption will be-favourably considered in all cases except where such nationals are of enemy origin or associations.
