FARMHAND CHARGED
Three charges of theft were admitted
in the Police Court yesterday by William Bee, aged 51, farmhand, Detec-tive-Sergeant Xaldcr said accused stole an overcoat from a room in a city building and later took an attache case from the university, which he revisited the next day and stole another coat. The magistrate, .Mr. F. K. Hunt, fined accused £5, in default 21 days' imprisonment, on the first charge, and convicted and discharged him on the others. A month was allowed in which to pay.
