To his other accomplishments Dr. T. Z. Koo, secretary of the World Student Christian Federation.'adds that of playing the bamboo flute, with which he has entertained audiences in many parts ol the world. In introducing him to a luncheon gathering in Auckland Canon W. W. Averill expressed the hope that he had acquired some new tunes since his hist visit in 1037. Dr. Koo replied that in the United States recently he bad had his baggage stolen and had recovered everything except some manuscript music on which lie had been working. However, he could play something new from memory. The doctor then played two charming little Chinese airs, one addressed to a jasmine flower and the other entitled "Joys of an Angler.''
