CHAMPIONSHIP CONTESTS The Auckland Football Association will start its senior championship to-day. The main attraction at Blandford Park will bo the meeting of Ponsonby and Thistle, while Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys and MetroCollege will provide the curtain-raiser. Abels will meet North Shore at Devon port, and Onehunga will play Comrades at Waikaraka Park.
