A True Story

While we were staying in Australia (about 10 years ago) with our grandmother, she bought some articles from a Chinaman, and for the delivery she received a bill which ran like this: —1 go and 1 come, and 2s a went. He meant it cost one shilling both ways, therefore it was two shillings altogether. —Original, by Una Cleverly (10).
