Klsewhere moderate easterly to northeasterly winds predominating, and freshening at times in exposed positions. Seas rather rough at times north of Castlepoint, elsewhere slight_ to moderate. Weather fair in South Westland and Southland and later in Otago and South Canterbury; otherwise cloudy to overcast, with widespread mist or fog and with scattered drizzle, more especially in districts with an easterly aspect!. Temperatures moderate.
