PERIOD OF OCCUPATION The period during which the Auckland Hospital Board is to retain the site in the Domain on which a soldiers' hospital is being erected was discussed by the City Council last night. The council's instructions were sought by the city solicitor, Mr. J. Stanton, who said that according to a letter lie ljad received from the Health Department, it was claimed that the period during which tho hospital might remain on the site must be determined by the Minister. The council left it to the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, and Mr. Stanton to approach the Minister with a view to having the post-war period of use of tho site fixed at five years.
