ANNUAL TOURNEY MEETING OF CHAMPIONS THREE ROUNDS DECIDED The Kill champion of champions bowling cnntesl for senior and first-year players' titles was commenced yesterday, when !tt senior ehanipions were located at the Carlton green and 22 first-year plaver champions a I the Balmoral green. Heavy rain interfered with l.ho third round and conditions became so had that the manaitement decided to postpone Iho fourth round until this morning, when play will resume on the same greens at K. 15. In the senior event 17 champions remain, four of these being two-lifers, including the title-holder, F. Livingstone, Onehunga. In the .junior event there are II players left in, three (if whom retain two lives. In spite of the conditions, which were very much against the production of good howling, the standard of play revealed by many of the champions was exceptionally good. The title-holder had two hard games in the first two rounds, the Kpsom champion, K. 'J'. Richmond, making a very hold bid for supremacy in the second contest. Iligginhothiini (Henderson), who employed a lot of driving tactics, was very successful with tin fast shot, disposing of two good players in succession, Griffiths and Bremner.
