RIFLES FOR HOME GUARD
(0.C.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday Tho authorities have issued 200 rifles to members of the Home Guard in Wellington city and suburbs. These rifles are to bo used for drill purposes only and not to be employed in musketry. In addition, approximately 50 rifles which were handed by private owners to the police have been issued to tho Home Guard,
