MAYORAL CONTESTS
DEVONPORT CANDIDATE The announcement was made yesterday that Mr. T. C. Hobbs-Jones, a member of tho Devonport Borough Council, will stand for the Mayoralty of Devonport at the municipal elections. Mr. Hobbs-Jones has been a member of the council for the last six years. DR. MCMILLAN CHOSEN DUNEDIN LABOUR ASPIRANT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] DUNE DIN, Tuesday It is announced that Dr. D. G. McMillan, M.P., has been chosen as the Labour candidate for the Dunedin Mayoralty. He has also been selected to stand for the Hospital and Harbour Boards.
