PARADES ON SUNDAY

HAMILTON HOME GUARD (0.C.) HAMILTON. Friday "There has boon some criticism about Sunday parados, but my attitude is that if Britain were attacked on a Sunday it would not bo feasible for the defence forces to wait until Monday morning before they went into action," said Captain T. H. Melrose, unit commander, when asking tho Hamilton Home Guard last night for an expression of opinion as to whether the members desired to parade on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. By an overwhelming majority of 600 to 40 the men present voted in favour of Sunday parades.
