Mayor of Te Kuiti, is at the Station Hotel. Air Commodore H. W. L. Saunders, Chief of Air Staff, is visiting Auckland and is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. G. L. Rilev, secretary of the New Zealand Drapers' Federation, returned to Wellington last night. Professor T. Siz-T. of Yale University, United States, left for Wellington lust night, accompanied by Mrs, Si/.er. Mr. T. C. A. Hislop. Mayor of Wellington, arrived yesterday to attend'the Municipal Conference. He is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. W. .Vishet, organiser of emergency training under the Department. of Supply, left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Dunedin. Mr. W. A. Jlislop, New Zealand manager for the Universal Film Corporation, arrived from Wellington yesterday and is at the Grand Hotel." Flight-Lieutenant G. P. Magill, D.F.C., formerly of Hamilton, has been promoted to the rank of squadronleader. He is stationed in North Africa.
