Found guilty on four counts arising out of a burglary of the promises of Home Furnishers, Limited, Karangahapo Road, on October 29, Reginald George Bloomfield. labourer, aged 33 (.Mr, Aekins), was sentenced to two years' hard labour on each of the first threo counts, and to three months' hard labour on the fourth, the sentences ro be concurrent;. A term of three years' probation was imposed by His Honor on Olive Muriel (ioodwin, domestic, aged (Mr. Aekins), on two charges of theft. Conditions of probation were that the prisoner should seek regular employment and cease her association with a certain man. A labourer, Krnest .Walton, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment on a charge of breaking: and entering and 1 heft from a residence on the Great South Road at Papakura on October 11. Sentence of two years' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed on Ernst Lion, farmer, aged 28 (Mr. Henry), on each of seven charges of indecent assault. on a male and one of an unnatural offence.
