AFTERNOON WEDDING

LEWIS—FROST BRIDE'S EMBOSSED GOWN ATTENDANTS IN ORGANDIE St. .Matthew s Church was the scene of an attractive wedding on Saturday afternoon, when Miss May Muriel Frost, younger daughter of Mrs. JO. I'lost. Mount Fden .Hoail. was married to Mr. C. A. J. Lewis, second son of Mrs. A. M. Lewis, of Heme Bay. The -Rev. (I. E. Moreton performed the ceremony, and Mr. Herbert Webb played the wedding music. During the service a solo was sung by Miss Irene Frost. The bride, who was given away by Mr. W. 1). Tremlett, wore a beautiful gown ol cream embossed taffeta, fashioned with u swathed bodice, long sleeves and gracefully draped skirt. The billowy tulle veil, which formed a long train, was attached to the hair with a topknot of orange blossom. A sheaf of white lilies was carried.

The bridesmaids were Miss Irene Frost, sister of the bride, and ]NI iss Gladys Spain, who were dressed alike in cream floral organdie frocks defined with rows of narrow Valenciennes lace and finished at the wsjist with Royal blue ribbon velvet. Their picture hats of cream leghorn were upturned with blue velvet, caught with blue and pink l'orget-me-nots. They carried bouquets ol pink carnations and blue cornflowers. Mr. George Brookes was best man and All - . Harold Cranch was groomsman. The ushers at the church were Mr. Robert Hugill and Mr. Lawrence Baker. The reception was held at Miss Aitkenhead's tearooms, where the guests were received by Mrs. Frost, wiio wore a navy and amber crepe frock with matching hat, and carried a bouquet of lemon roses. Mrs. Lewis, the bridegroom's mother, wore a black ensemble, relieved with white, and a small black hat. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
