DELAY TO CLIPPER
NOW EXPECTED TO-MORROW The Pan American Airways California Clipper, en route from San Francisco to Auckland, tinder the command of Captain W. Clutho, has been delayed for 24 hours at Canton Island by unfavourable weather, and is now expected to leave for Noumea this morning. If not further delayed, the Clipper will arrive at Auckland tomorrow afternoon, three days later than the scheduled time. The Tasman Empire
Airways flying-boat Awarua will leave Auckland for Sydney the day after tlio arrival of the Clipper. The departure date of the Clipper for the return flight to San Francisco is riot yet definite. The following are passengers who will leave on the Clipper:— Mr. and Mrs. Jean Verge, Messrs. S. Pakagi, W. Woymack, C. Binder, A. W. Coles, W. If. Crowther, A. den Breems, E. McLoughlin, T. Simpson, R. 11. Ramsay, Mrs. J. Houssin, Masters Francis Houssin and Joan Houssin. ARRIVAL OF AOTEAROA NINE PASSENGERS CARRIED Carrying nine pasongers, 9681b of mail and 55011) of freight, Tasmau Empire Airways' flying-boat Aotonron, commanded by Captain J. W. Burgess, arrived from Sydney at 2..30 p.m. yesterday after a flight taking 8$ hours. The passengers were: —Mrs. B. I. M. Schoon, Mrs. A. S. Skelley, Miss b. Clouston, Mr. A. don Breems, Mr. W. If. Crowther, Mr. E. McLoughlin, Mr. C. Marsack, Mr. R. R. Ramsay and Mr, T. Simpson.
