Let the nation stand up and fight for out country, our women and children and our holy traditions. I We must show if toe are worthy | of our ancestry of freedom, the | heritage of our forefathers, and fight to the death. The time has come when We must fight for our independence and oar life. Italy does not recognise our right to live as a free nation, in spite of Greek neutrality. The Italian Minister handed ms demands that We should surrender Greek, territories at Italy's own discretion or Italian troops Would march at daybreakI answered: "I consider your demands and the manner in which they are made as a declaration of War against Greece."
