SEQUEL TO SUNDAY RAID The H Chinese who were arrested after a police; raid on promises ar 55 Grey"? Avenue on Sunday appeared in the Police Court before Mr. J. Morling, 5..M., yesterday. They were Albert T)uk. Wong Chong, Chun Quing. Ah Loin, All Kee. Ah Lee. Ah Sum. Wong Wing, Slice Kong. Ah Jong and Wong Lay Hum, all of whom were charged with being in possession of prepared opium. Wong Lay Hum was also charged with permitting the smoking of opium. Mr. J. Dickson appeared on behalf of all the accused, who were remanded to appear on January 27. Bail of £SO was allowed in each case.
