CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES FURTHER SERIES TO-MORROW MIDDLEMORE TO MEET EDEN Matches in the first grade championship of the Auckland Cricket Association will he resumed to-morrow, when an interesting series should be witnessed. Four games will be played at Eden Park, the principal of which will be the meeting of Middlemore and Eden on No. '2 wicket. The former team will be weakened hv Ihe absence of J. A. 1!. Blandford. who has gone into camp, but the side should prove a good match for Eden. University may prove a lit Mo too strong for Parncll on Xo. 1 wicnet, but bright, batting should lie a feature of ihe game. Pon-sonby-Balmoral, which is showing improved form, should extend P.ipaktira Camp on No. 3. Grafton's chances will be favoured in its game with Training College on Xo. 4. although Ihe latter team has shown good batting form on ocasions. The leader of the competition. SUBURBAN MATCHES Keen games shoul I he witnessed at the Domain to-morrow, when the Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association will commence the fifth series of matches in the first round of its senior competition. The championship lead is shared by Brixlon and Green Lane, and both teams will face strong opposition to-morrow. In the principal match. Brixton will play R.V. on No. 2 wicket. Brixton has shown excellent form of late, hut R.V. is capable of stopping its run of successes should good balling conditions prevail. On Xo. I wicket. Green Lane will play Koskill.
