HATLESS CHILDREN
Sir.—l desire to draw attention to a practice which, from observation, would appear to be quite in the fashion, although a dangerous one, that is to say allowing children, many of them infants, to be out in tho hottest part of the day with no covering over the head. During the epidemic of infantile paralysis, parents were warned against, carelessness in this respect. If there was danger at that time, is there not the same now? It is harrowing to the feelings of a child-lover to see a baby in arms with head exposed to the heat of the sun without any protection whatever. S.ii.. J.
