SPORTS GATHERING
TE AKAU CLUB'S MEETING The Te Akau Sports Club held its annual meeting in Mr. Monckton's paddock in ideal weather ,Ind in the presence of a large gathering of spectators. Mr. A. .Sutherland judged all the events, which were keenly contested. All profits went to the patriotic fund. Results were:— Bending Competitions.- Maiden: A. Carter, 1; X. Henry, 2; G. Boyd, ;s.
