BITTER CAFE FIGHT

AMERICANS AND ITALIANS INCIDENT AT SHANGHAI LONDON, Dec. 20 Nino American marines and throe sailors are reported to bo in hospital after one of the most bitter cafe brawls for many months between defence forces in the International Settlement, says lieu tor's Shanghai correspondent. One hundred American and Italian marines participated in the brawl, which occurred early on Christmas morning. The Italian casualties are unknown, but it is reported that several were seriously injured. Settlement police intervened on the side of tho Americans. The brawl, which arose over the use of «a table, raged until the arrival of tho military police.
