A depression was approaching Tasmania from the west. Forecast: Sea breezes on parts of the east, coast, hut othervise moderate to fresh winds from between north-west and south-west. Seas slight or moderate. Weather for the most part fair to line. Some scattered morning fog or drizzle, however, in western areas, particularly of the South Island. Temperatures mild to warm.
