Pat's Kitten

ANNE SpiRLEY, —I have a kitten who is hot named yet. He is a rusty colour with stripes of cream in between. He has a drink of milk early in the morning. Through the day he eats flies, which are making him thin. When I come home from school 1 don't gee him, unless he is looking for me. But at breakfast he is usually waiting on the step for someone to open the door. If he comes in he is chased out again. Ross, who is six months old has taken a great fancy to him. I am the only white child in my school. It is not a very big school. —With love from Pat Barnes (7), Cape Runaway.
