OBITUARY

MR. H. Y. COLLINS The death occurred yesterday of Mr. Herbert. Yeoman Collins, aged 77. of Hewhiti Avenue, Takapuna, and formerly of Te Awamntu. .Mr. Collins was horn in Auckland, and as a young man went, to Napier to practise as a soli citor. There he was married in the cathedral on .May .'il, 1888. and two and a-half years ago Mrs. Collins and he celebrated their golden wedding at a family gathering. Mrs. Collins is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Anderson, who were Otago pioneers. Some years alter marriage Mr. Collins made his home in 'IV Awamutu, and there he practised his profession lor •Ui years. He retired to Takapuna about four years
