CRICKET SEASON
CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES ATTRACTIONS FOR TO-DAY Y.M.C.A. AND PAPAKURA CAMP Senior championship games under the control of the Auckland Cricket Association will ho continued to-day, and four good attractions have been arranged at Eden Park. In tho main fixlure Papakura Camp will oppose Y.M.C.A. Both teams are solid allround combinations and an interesting contest, is expected. Grafton's chances will be favoured in its match against Parnell on No. 1 wicket, while Kden should also prove a little 100 strong for Training College on No. H wicket. A close finish is anticipated between Ponsonby-Bal-moral and Middlemore on No. 1. North Shore and University, the leading teams in the competition, will meet at Devonport. SUBURBAN MATCHES Strong teams will ho opposed to each other in the- series of games to be commenced today at. the Domain by the Auckland City mid Suburban Cricket Association. Jn the main attraction Air Force and Green Lane should have a sterling encounter on No. wicket. Brixton and Tui should be evenly matched on No. I, while Dilworth Old Boys will face a difficult proposition in R.Y. on No. .'V. Manukau and Roskill will clash on No. 4.
