TWO FARMERS HURT

HARVESTING ACCIDENTS [rt telegraph—own correspondent] TE AHOIT A, Thursday A Waitoa farmer, Mr. Murdoch MacLean. No. 1 Road, was found unconscious in a hay paddock on his farm suffering from severe chest injuries and scalp wounds and suspected fractured ribs. Mr. .Mat ■Lean was alone in tho paddock at the time and it has not boon definitely established how the accident happened, but it is fairly obvious that the horses attached to a mower bolted and dragged the driver for a considerable distance. .Mr. MacLoan was not discovered for at least at. hour afterward. He was taken to Waikato Hospital. While engaged in harvesting on his farm at No. 7 Road Waitoa, Mr. Frank Brown received severe cuts and bruises as a result of falling on a grab when a stacker rope snapped. Ho was taken to a private hospital in To Aroha.
