ANNUAL TAURANGA REGATTA CUP FOR SERVICES CREWS The Taurancra Regatta <'!til> has advised the A lick In ml Kowinir Association that il has definitely decided to proceed with its annual regatta nn Boxing Hay. Thr programme 11i>tn it ted for approval is as follows: Junior fours (first ' fecund I I); light inaiilrn fours, maii.l rn double sculls, handicap single snills. open ntaitlni fours, maiden pair, .youths' fours (all fir-l secmid .11). There will br no entry fees for any of the races, while tlierr is a likelihood that the donations for the four-oar races will he slightly increased. Present indications are that eight crews comprised of men from the various services will compete for the John Thompson Memorial Cup to-morrow afternoon. The St. George's clnli, which controls the trophy, has already received entries from the Kith, lltli and PJt'i Batteries, and two entries from Papaknra camp. The Air Force club has stated licit it will enter at least three crews. The course will he parallel with the Tnmaki Drive from Ilobson Point to the Akarana Yacht Chili.
