WARTIME BUILDING
STUDIES IN ENGLAND A study of wartime building construction was made in England by .Mr. T. K. llaughey, Xew Zealand ("Diversity travelling scholar in architecture, who lias returned to the Dominior after more than a year abroad. After studying hospital and public building construction in America Mr. llaughey arrived in England shortly before war broke out. He studied for a time at Liverpool University and with the intensification of war turned his attention especially to wartime building. such as air raid shelters, army camps and aerodromes. Kor two months he was engaged in supervisory work in aerodrome construction.
