THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE SOUTH BRITISH ACTIVE Four parcels of South British shares were transferred on the Auckland Stock .Exchange yesterday, when the market recovered a small initial loss and closed at firmer levels. Business generally was quiet, with levels showing only slight variations. After a period of inactivity interest quickened in Taranaki Oil Developments, which were dealt in several times at a gain oil the day's levels, but still easier than the last business in September.
