RIFLE SHOOTING
Morrinsville v. Te Aroha.— A friendly sltooling match between members of the Te Aroha troop of the Legion of Frontiersmen ami the Morrinsville Defence Rifle Club was held on the Morrinsville range. The match, which was fired over the '_'oo yards and 300 yards ranges, resulted in a win for the visitors by a margin of eight points. Hesuits were:—Legion of Frontiersmen: C. Qnaltrough, 90; L. A. Boldero, HO; I). Belcher, SO; A. Keightley, S.">; L. Ferguson, 78; R. E. Stockley, 70; total, 501. Rifle club members: M. Grigsby, in>; J. Wylie, 80; T. Park, 85; M. Glasgow, si; C. Davis, 79; S. Griffiths, (!7; total, -193. A shoot for a trophy donated by Mr. C. Davis among members of the Legion who are not also members of the rille club resulted in a win for C. Qnaltrough, with L. A. Boldero run-ner-up, the latter defeating 1). Belcher for second position oil the count-back.
