YACHTING AT HAMILTON

[from ouk own conn .rcs ton dent] HAMILTON, Monday The first of a scries of races for the Archie Logan Memorial Cup was conducted by the Hamilton Yncht. Club at the Hamilton Lake on Saturday. The series was for the Silver Fern class, and seven yachts competed. The winners were:—Valerie (T. Neil). 1; Rosalie (J. F. Louden), 2; Clipper (W. Belcher), 3. The Morris Cnp race was run in conjunction, there being 12 starters. The placed yachts were:—Valerie, 1; Rosalie, 2; Clipper, 3.
