ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
DIVISION'S FINE RECORD The winning of five trophies for interbrigade competition in the Auckland Province was a feature of the successful year of the National Reserve Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Speaking at the 23rd annua! dinner of the division last night, Mr. R. Sharp said that in this performance the division had excelled all previous records. One trophy, the Jones Shield, was won for the third year in succession. Members attended public duty on 533 occasions, treating 1896 cases, while cases treated by mouthers not on public duty totalled 377. Miniatures of the trophies won were presented to each member of the successful teams by Corps Officer F. Davidson. A medal in recognition of his efficient services over 12 years was presented to Mr. C. S. Butler.
